Who We Are

Literacy Volunteers of Morris County provides free instruction to adults who lack the ability to read, write or speak English.
Each year our volunteer tutors help hundreds of adults become more successful and productive employees, parents, consumers, and citizens.

Literacy Volunteers of Morris County is a community of employees, volunteers, students, friends and supporters.

Our diversity is our strength.

The LVMC office is open 9 to 2, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 9 to 7 on Tuesday.  We are closed on Friday.

We are committed to providing a safe environment for our tutors, students, and staff.  LVMC recommends that tutors and student meet remotely, or at the library, the LVMC office  or other quiet, public space.
